How to pay if you live in the UK

There are 4 easy ways to pay for your order.

  1. Credit Card Whilst You Are On-Line The easiest and faster way to pay is by credit card whilst you are on-line and have completed your shopping. Just check that your order is correct, fill in all your details and send it to us. Your order and your credit card details go via World Pay who acts on behalf of the banks as a secure processing centre. We then receive your order with a confirmation that your credit card details have been processed. To maintain top-level security, at no point do we see any of your credit card details.

  2. Phone Us - Free of Charge from the UK You can complete your order on line and at the final checkout click the option to telephone us with your credit card details. That sends your order to us and then phone us free of charge on FREEPHONE number 0800 056 8148 and give us your credit card details.

  3. Fax Us - Free of Charge from the UK You can print out your order and fill in your credit card details and fax us free of charge on FREEPHONE number 0800 056 8146

  4. Send Your Order by Post You can print out your order and fill in your credit card details or send a cheque, postal order or money order made payable to ‘Vitamin UK’ and send it in an envelope to:-

    Please make sure you do send a copy of your order so we have all your details. We sometimes do receive cheques without orders and this can cause delays in sending out your order to you.

There are 4 easy ways to pay for your order.

  1.     How long does it take for my order to arrive?

    If you pay by credit card, on the Internet or by telephoning us or sending your details by fax, we process your order immediately on the first working day after receiving your order and wherever possible despatch it to you the same day.

    Our office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm (UK time) throughout the year except UK Bank Holidays.

    If you send a cheque or money order by post, we do not process your order until we receive it.   We then wait for your bank to clear your cheque, before despatching it to you.   Depending on your bank, this usually takes 3 to 5 days.   So please allow for that.

    At Vitamin UK our stock levels of goods offered are usually 97% minimum in stock at all times.   Fluctuations are caused by excessive demand e.g. newspaper articles on a product, or when manufacturers cannot supply e.g. Solgar and FSC and some other manufacturers have stock fluctuations as some, or all of their products are imported.

    If we are out of stock because a manufacturer cannot supply a product, wherever possible, we will inform you on line before you order.

    In the UK   We send all goods out in the UK by Royal Mail First Class Post or Parcel Force or Securicor Omega next day delivery.

    In Europe   We send all goods out in the UK by Royal Mail First Class Post or Parcel Force or Securicor Omega .

    Outside of Europe   We send all goods outside of Europe by Royal Mail First Class Post or relevant carriers.

    We appreciate that you want your goods as soon as possible and so we make every attempt to despatch them to you as quickly as possible.

    What happens if you don’t have everything I order?

    If you are ordering from within the UK we will inform you what items we have and will despatch those immediately to you.  We will approximate how long we think it will be before the remainder of your goods will arrive.

    Should you wish to cancel for any reason we will reimburse you the full amount for goods outstanding by the method of payment you have used to pay us i.e. credit card or cheque.   Should you wish to wait for your goods we will despatch them to you at no additional charge.

    If you are ordering from outside the UK we will inform you of the status of your order and approximately how long we think it will be before the remainder of your goods will be ready for despatch.

    Should you wish to cancel part or whole of your order for any reason at this point, we will reimburse you the full amount for goods outstanding by the method of payment you have used to pay us i.e. credit card or cheque.

    What do I do if I want to contact you?

    Just send us an email telling us what your query is and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.   Customer Service is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm (UK Time), all the year round except UK Bank holidays.

How does the Shopping Cart work?

  • To SELECT AN ITEM FOR PURCHASE click the Buy button next to the selected product. Every time you add a product to your shopping basket, your order will be displayed on the REVIEW SHOPPING BASKET screen, listing all the items chosen, the item price, the quantity and the total price.

  • To REVIEW THE CONTENT OF YOUR BASKET at any time, click the Review Order button at the top of the screen.

  • To DELETE A PRODUCT ALREADY ORDERED on the Review Shopping Basket page, click the Remove box, next to the item.

  • To CHANGE THE QUANTITY on the Review Shopping Basket page, enter a new figure in the Quantity box and then click anywhere away from the box. The new value will then be recalculated and displayed.

  • To REMOVE ALL PRODUCTS from your shopping basket without making a purchase click the Empty Basket button on the Review Shopping Basket page.
  • To CONTINUE SHOPPING from the Review Shopping Basket page ,click the Continue Shopping button, which will display the home page with the product department selection buttons and the drop down selection list.

  • TO PLACE YOUR ORDER click the Cashier button. You will be asked to enter your personal details to enable us to ship the goods and effect payment. Please note that prompts for all inputs appear in the frame in the bottom left hand corner of the screen window.

  • The first Item to enter is the Cardholder's Name. This is the name of the person placing the order and if you intend to pay by credit or debit card, it must be the name as shown on your card.
    • The Company/Business Name is optional.
    • The Cardholder's Address must be the one that relates to the credit card holder. Please complete the post or zip code and obviously the country is also important.
    • The Delivery Address should be completed if you would like your order to be delivered to another address. Please enter details including post or zip code and country. If the delivery address is the same as the cardholder address, then please leave this blank. If you are unlikely to be at home during the day, please enter your work address or the address of a neighbour who will be at home.
    • Telephone, Fax and E-mail details are essential as should there be any queries or problems with your order we would need to be able to contact you. If you enter your e-mail address a copy of your order will automatically be sent to you and any future correspondence.

When you have entered your details you can move on to the final stage by clicking the Next button, or you can go back to reviewing your order. If you have proceeded you will now see a summary of your order. It works out the total price for each item and adds shipping charges relevant to the delivery country.

Reviewing your order
You can review the contents of your shopping basket by clicking the Review Order button. You can remove an item, change the quantity or empty your basket. To carry on shopping click the Continue Shopping button. You can complete your order by clicking the Cashier button.

Save 15% on Tax Free Shopping

If you are ordering from outside the European Community (EU) and delivering the goods outside the EU we automatically deduct the Value Added Tax (VAT) from the total you are charged. This is shown on the final Check Out screen.

What happens if I need something urgently and need to know whether you can supply me?
Call us on our Freephone 0800 056 8148 and be very specific about what you would like to order and how soon you need it. We can let you know all relevant details within a few minutes. Should you require an express service, we can send goods out by Royal Mail next day delivery for a small additional cost.

Special Ordering Service for Products not Listed
At Vitamin UK we stock or can order in, over 10,000 health supplements. We are listing new products every day and we are happy to get for you whatever products you want. Just because we list over 90 types of Garlic and Cod Liver Oil, doesn't mean we won't get your favourite brand if it isn't listed!
If you want something obscure, then it is no problem for us to try to get it for you.
